Due to popular demand, there will be a series of 6 advanced classes focusing on proper technique for advanced moves and musical expression. Topics will include: release and expression of the free leg, technique and adornos for leaders and followers, rotation in advanced steps, improvisation, musicality, and much more. Partners not necessary. Participants are invited to stay and help with the introductory class at no charge.

AThere will also be an Introduction to Tango series for new dancers to get geared up for the International Tango Festival in June. If you can walk, you can dance tango. This series is designed to give you a good start dancing tango that will provide a foundation of understanding that will stay with you as you advance to more complicated moves. Partners not necessary. Leather soled shoes will help. Followers might like to wear high heels that don't fall off.

Advanced Class:

• Technique and Expression 2:30-3:30pm


Beginning Class:

• Introduction to Tango 3:30-4:30pm

• Relaxed practice time 4:30-7pm

Just to be clear, we'll continue to teach for free during the Friday and Sunday practicas ($5 entry) and the private lessons are more for people who want extended time and focus.
