This Saturday 31 July Moving from the ground: Why bother? How? and what to do with it?

This is the last of my Saturday classes at Webb Street (Matthew is coming back and will take up teaching his classes again!)

Workshop 2:30-4:00

Beginners class 4:00-5:00 pm.

Classes in August:

I've have received LOTS of feedback that I need to slow down in class and now that I have more time with you, I will. I will continue to teach technique THEMES rather than structures, but I'll spread each theme across a few weeks, so we'll have plenty of time to practice! In August, we'll spend two more weeks on led adornos, but from other movements since we already did adornos from forward ocho. And we'll continue with the crusada theme for the second part of august, learning the side step cross and enganche from several positions, with alternative exits.

Also, it's clear that followers want a lot of attention, so I'm starting a separate follower's technique class on Thursday nights!  (See schedule below.)

The Saturday intermediate/advanced workshop will move to Tuesday nights. I'm asking people to please arrange leader-follower pairs.  This will allow the class to remain balanced between leaders' and followers' technique. We'll change partners in the class as usual so you don't have to plan to dance together, all you have to do is TALK to someone else and agree that you'll both attend the class.   Thanks in advance for helping with this!

Schedule for August:

The classes are all mid-week because I'll be traveling to teach on weekends and this way I won't have to cancel classes.
