+Tangosalon and Balanzar Tango are very pleased to announce a regular Estadio Milonga!! once a month on every second Friday of the month.
From this Friday 10 September from 7pm to 11pm, Balanzar Tango live and DJ Buenos Aprile from +Tangosalon, all at Estadio 17 -19 Blair Street, Wellington.
The last Milonga was just fantastic with the atrium filled with Tango. Book tables and enjoy a great night out --- all Free Entry and all welcome.
This weekend is back to back Milongas with Estadio Friday Night and Moulin Rouge Saturday - a great opportunity for out of town dancers to enjoy the Wellington Milonga lifestyle.
Estadio Milonga this Friday 20 August featuring Balanzar Tango and +tangosalon DJ Sharon from 8pm to 11pm, free entry Milonga! -- 17 -19 Blair Street, Wellington.
Experience live tango music and dance the like you are in Buenos Aires, followed by tango DJ Sharon from Tangosalon. A great night and right in the action of Courtenay Place.

What’s On this Wednesday 18th August
I am organising a "low key" birthday milonga. It will be timely as this Wednesday Graeme will be 80. This celebration is a well deserved tribute to Graeme’s contribution to the Tango community. Graeme was one of the first teachers in Wellington.

First of all I would like to thank you for your support of my Saturday milongas. The atmosphere has been great and I have you to thank for that. Also a big thank you to my pixies who are there without fail to help me with set up and all of you who stay behind to tidy up at the end. I really appreciate it.

I would really like to see if we can not create a Wellington Tango Community in which everybody feels comfortable and has a good time. We need to put our energy into the positive..... Potential Accessories: Goatees, handlebar mustache's, leather hats, corsets as outerwear, stockings with garter belts, top hats, tilted barrets, head dresses, pantaloons, tall laced up leather boots, long above elbow length gloves, period suits, vests, angel wings, and capes. Modern tuxedos, preferably with tails, will work for men if the shirt collar is up. Accessories could include a bow tie, gloves, and a top hat. Intellectuals could wear old tattered corduroy or wool jackets with neck scarves along with wire rimmed glasses.
